The Chamber's many programs and events afford members the opportunity for visibility, community recognition, and identification with one of the most successful Chambers in Upstate South Carolina.

Attending and sponsoring our events are a win-win for the Chamber and the member business / organization. The sponsoring company is able to target marketing dollars in a cost-effective way while allowing for participation in significant events. The Chamber, in turn, has the satisfaction of experiencing successful programs and events that provide additional value to our members and our communities we service.

State of Clemson

The State of Clemson is an annual event of the Clemson community with presentations from the Mayor of Clemson, the President of Clemson University and other elected officials from the State, County or School Board pertaining to issues pertinent to the Clemson community. This event is held in February of each year.

Spring Golf Classic

WalkerCourseThe Chamber's Spring Golf Classic is a captain's choice format, offering an afternoon tee time followed by a reception. This event is held in April of each year.

   

Spring Fling & Awards Banquet

This event allows the Chamber to honor its members, volunteers, board of directors and present its major awards. Volunteers comment about the various benefits of Chamber membership, outline Chamber programming highlights, and present new directions as we move forward. This is also where we honor those members who have completed their service to the Board of Directors. This event is held in May of each year.

   

Central Railroad Festival

railroadThis weekend event is held within the Central community celebrating its railroad heritage. Thousands of people come together annually for this event with activities for the entire family including great food and entertainment. This event is held in May of each year.

   

Clemsonfest

This annual event celebrates July 4th and is held on July 3rd. This event brings together people from all over the Upstate of South Carolina consisting of various food vendors, live entertainment and ends with a fantastic fireworks show while overlooking Lake Hartwell. There are activities for kids so bring the entire family for a great time.

   

Central State of the Community

This event in the Central community consisting of presentations from the Mayor of Central, President of Southern Wesleyan University and various other State, County or School Board elected officials pertaining to issues pertinent to the Central community. This event will be held at Southern Wesleyan University on Thursday, November 5th at noon. Call 864-654-1200 for details and to register. $20 members / $30 General Admission

   

Pendleton State of the Community

This event in the Pendleton community consists of presentations from the Mayor of Pendleton, President of Tri-County Technical College and various other State, County or School Board elected officials pertaining to issues pertinent to the Pendleton community. This event is held in the fall of each year.

   

Pendleton Fall Festival

This event celebrates the fall season in the heart of Pendleton square. Come join us for arts, crafts, food and entertainment. This event is held in the fall of each year.

   

Holiday Reception

This event celebrates the holidays and welcomes all members of the Area Chamber. Great food and entertainment make up this annual event which is held in December of each year.

   

Leadership Pickens County

This is a county-wide leadership development program open to members of any of the four Chambers of Commerce in Pickens County. The program kicks off in September with an orientation session combining team building exercises as well as community and personal development experiences. The course continues monthly for seven months as area leaders in business, government, media, education and health services come together to inform and enlighten participants on issues and concerns facing Pickens County. Each program day is highly interactive while highlighting the needs and opportunities within the Pickens County Region.

   

Monthly Member Luncheon

This event is held on the last Wednesday of every month and is held at the Ramada Inn in Clemson. Presentations consist of various community and business leaders discussing issues pertinent to the business community. This is a great opportunity to meet fellow Chamber members and grow relationships and foster new ones.
